“only driven to car shows”
Sure, get a VW BASED “replica” and don’t drive it. No, only take it to shows ‘cause that shit is concours. No fun to be had actually driving it around, oh no. Definitely not any mountain roads around Seattle that would be fun to drive on or any of that shit.
I mean, it might break down or something and there aren’t any VW new parts or spares in Seattle at all. Clearly.
I’ve seen someone with what appeared to be a genuine ‘30s Alfa on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This guy is ALL OF THE FAIL

I have but one star to give to this post. Also, that is an ugly replica, the only POSSIBLE good that come out of it is driving around with the wind in your hair.

Literally the entire point of a VW Fake Alfa (volkswalfa?) is to have something kind of cool to be seen in that you can drive around all the time. If having a replicar is failing on some level, he is literally failing at failing.

The original for comparison:
It really is nothing like the real thing.

Yeah the real thing is a work of art. I have no clue what’s going on up there though.

Borat, a VW Beetle and a hacksaw is going on up there.
